Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R)

Verified · October 23, 2026

Help for families who are trying to find and choose child care in Duval County, where there are more than 400 child care programs. A CCR&R specialist talks with you about what matters to your family — location, hours, type of program, transportation, health and safety record, class size — and gives you a list of providers that match. The page also explains the Guiding Stars of Duval quality ratings (1 to 5 stars) so families can compare programs. This is a help-finding-care service, separate from School Readiness help paying for care and from VPK registration, which have their own pages and batch-1 entries.
