Disclaimer

This site is a free community resource. We work hard to keep information accurate and current, but program rules, income limits, hours, and contact details change — sometimes without notice. Before you apply or visit, confirm the details with the organization directly. Inclusion on this site is not an endorsement, and a listing is never a guarantee you’ll qualify.

This site doesn’t give legal, medical, financial, or immigration advice. Our guides explain programs in plain language; they don’t replace a lawyer, a caseworker, or the agency itself. If your situation is complicated, talk to a qualified professional — our Legal Help category is a good place to start.

Scam warnings: how to protect yourself

  • We will never ask for your Social Security number, bank information, passwords, or payment to use this site.
  • No real government program applies through us or asks for money to apply. Anyone charging a fee to “help you get benefits” is running a scam.
  • Never give personal information to someone who calls, texts, or emails claiming to be from Jacksonville Benefits unless you contacted us first.
  • If it sounds too good to be true — “guaranteed $5,000 in benefits, just pay $50” — it is.

If you think you’ve been targeted by a scam, report it to the Florida Attorney General’s fraud hotline at 1-866-9-NO-SCAM (1-866-966-7226) and to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.

Affiliate and advertising note

If this site ever shows ads or sponsored listings, they’ll always be labeled. Sponsors never influence which programs we list or how we describe them.
