Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program — First Coast District

Free advocacy for people who live in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and adult family care homes. Trained volunteer ombudsmen visit facilities, listen to residents’ concerns, and receive and investigate complaints on behalf of residents and their families — for example discharge and eviction problems, medication administration, personal hygiene, menu quality, and housekeeping.
