Early Voting Is Open in Jacksonville: All 24 Duval Sites, Hours Through Nov. 1, and What to Bring
Early voting is open right now in Duval County, and it runs through Sunday, November 1. The best part for anyone working around a job or a bus schedule: you do not have to vote in your home precinct. Any registered Duval County voter can vote at any of the 24 early voting sites β whichever one is closest to work, home, or your route.
Hours: the weekday window is built for work schedules
- Saturday Oct. 24 β Sunday Oct. 25: 9 a.m. β 5 p.m.
- Monday Oct. 26 β Friday Oct. 30: 7 a.m. β 7 p.m. β early enough before a shift, late enough after one
- Saturday Oct. 31 β Sunday Nov. 1: 9 a.m. β 5 p.m. (Nov. 1 is the last day)
What to bring
Bring a photo ID that has your signature β a Florida driver license or Florida ID card covers both. If your photo ID does not have your signature, bring a second ID that does. If you have no ID with you, you can still vote on a provisional ballot β but the photo-plus-signature pair is what gets you through the normal line.

Already have a mail ballot?
Be straight about this: the deadline to request a mail ballot (5 p.m. on October 22) has already passed β nobody can request a new one now. If you already have a mail ballot at home, it must be received by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3 to count β mailing it late is risky. Voting early in person, above, is now the flexible option.
If you wait for Election Day instead
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 7 a.m. β 7 p.m. β and unlike early voting, on Election Day you must vote at your assigned precinct. Questions about your registration, your precinct, or anything above: the Duval County Supervisor of Elections answers at 904-255-8683 (904-255-VOTE) and at duvalelections.gov.
