DAV Chapter 7 — VA Claims & Benefits Help (Chapter Service Office)
Verified · October 23, 2026
DAV Chapter 7’s service officers help veterans and their families with VA claims and benefits, or a referral, at its chapter service office in Jacksonville. The service officers are all volunteers and are all disabled veterans themselves, so the chapter asks you to call before coming to make sure someone is present. The chapter also holds a weekly VA Claims & Benefits Services Day at the same Norwood Avenue location (at CareerSource), where you can drop by on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or request an appointment ahead of time through the form linked on the chapter’s calendar. (Co-located with the CareerSource Gateway center in Tranche 2 — same building and main phone number, different organization and service, so kept as its own row.)
