The Florida Veterans Foundation was founded by the Florida Legislature in 2008 to provide emergency and support services and programs for veterans and their families across Florida. A Florida veteran who needs financial assistance is directed by the Foundation to reach out to their Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs county office. The Foundation also lists veteran help hotlines on its site. (Terms are thin on its own site — do not merge in Project VetRelief terms; that is an American Legion program the Foundation’s site only links to.)
